I am Kuresse Bolds, a Boston-based concept artist currently working at Respawn Entertainment for the game Apex Legends.

Fueled by my black and queer identities, I have carved out a new space for myself in the game development industry. This has been prominent through my cosmetics which has broken analytics at Apex. Outside of Apex, I have partnered with other studios/companies as a freelance artist. I have produced a wide range of content from topics focused on mental health to sci-fi pirates.

I attended Lesley University with a focus in illustration. Concept art has always been an interesting avenue for me. It is endless how expansive a world can be by the characters that fuel its storytelling. With that, I merge my love for character design with my marginalized identities to bring a sense of visibility and new perspective.
